Create an automation

Use the Automations create form to define an automation's name, trigger, and enabled state. Create an automation to react to a platform trigger.

Before you begin

  • Decide which trigger the automation should listen for.

  • Decide whether the automation should be enabled when you save it.

Steps

  1. In the Admin Panel navigation, expand Flow.

  2. Select Automations.

  3. On the Automations screen, select Create.

  4. In Name, enter a value. Use a name that identifies the automation.

  5. In Trigger, select a trigger. Choose the trigger that the automation should listen for.

  6. Optional: In Enabled, choose the enabled state for the automation. Selecting the option activates the automation on save. Leave the option clear to save the automation inactive.

  7. Select Save.

Result

The new automation appears in the list with the name, trigger, and enabled state you chose.
