The Attributes screen lists the attributes configured for your shop. Open it from the Attributes item in the navigation menu.

List screen
Control | What it does |
CREATE | Opens the Create Attributes form. |
No Attributes found | This is the empty-state message shown in place of the list. It appears when no attributes have been created. |
Create form
Field | What it does |
Name | This is a text field. It holds the internal identifier for the attribute. |
Sync key | This is a text field. It holds the key used to synchronise the attribute with an external system. |
Translations | This is a text field labelled with a language code, such as en. It holds the display name for the attribute in that language. |
Show on product page | This is a toggle switch. When it is on, the attribute is displayed on product pages. |
Show on filter | This is a toggle switch. When it is on, the attribute is available as a filter option. |
Use as brand | This is a toggle switch. When it is on, the attribute is tied to the Brands feature. |
Show filter search | This is a toggle switch. When it is on, the storefront catalog filter shows a search box under the attribute's title, and shoppers can type to narrow its list of values. Turn it on for attributes with so many values that shoppers struggle to scan them. The search box appears on both desktop and mobile filter panels. Attributes that existed before this setting was introduced have it off, so their storefront filters are unchanged. |
