The Sorting sources screen lists the sorting sources configured for your shop. Open it by expanding Catalog in the navigation and selecting Sorting sources.
Storefront catalogue pages use the sorting sources you define to fill their sort dropdown. If no sorting source is configured, the storefront offers no sorting.
List
When no sorting sources exist, the list shows the message No Sorting sources found. Select Create to open the Create Sorting sources form.
Create form fields
Field | What it holds |
Name | Required text field. It holds the internal identifier for the sorting source. |
en | Text field labelled with a language code, such as en. It holds the display name shown to customers in that language. |
Product property | Selector. It holds the product attribute used to sort results. |
Label | Selector. It links the sorting source to a configured label, and the choices depend on the labels set up for your shop. |
Sorting Direction | Selector. It sets whether results sort ascending or descending. |
Save
On the empty create form, Save is unavailable. The Product property, Label and Sorting Direction fields are optional. After you change field values, Save becomes available.
