The Sorting sources screen lists the sorting sources configured for your shop. Reach the screen through Catalog and Sorting sources in the navigation.
List controls
Control or area | Description | State |
CREATE | This control opens the form for a new sorting source. | The control is available. |
Sorting-source ordering | The list of sorting sources can be reordered. | Reordering is unavailable when the list is empty. |
Empty state | The screen displays the empty-state message “No Sorting sources found”. | The message appears when no sorting sources exist. |
Create form fields
Field | Purpose | State |
Name | This field identifies the sorting source internally. | This field is required. |
Translated display name | This field supplies the display name shown to customers in the active language. | The form provides a text field for the active language. |
Product property | This field identifies the product attribute used to sort results. | This field is optional. |
Label | This field associates the sorting source with a configured label. | This field is optional, and its choices reflect the configured labels. |
Sorting Direction | This field specifies whether results sort in ascending or descending order. | This field is optional. |
