Use the stepped create form in ERP Manager to define a query that reads data from a client's ERP for further processing.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that at least one client connection exists before you begin. For connection setup, see Connect an ERP.

Steps

  1. Open Basic queries from the side menu.

  2. Select Create. The Create Basic Query form opens on the first step.

  3. Enter a name in Basic Query Name.

  4. Select a client connection in Select connection. Choose the client connection whose ERP you want to query.

  5. Select a connection before choosing an ERP entity; the control becomes active afterward. Select Select ERP Entity. Choose the ERP entity to read from.

  6. If the query targets a REST API endpoint, enable REST API.

  7. Select Next to advance to the next step of the form. Step 2 opens.

  8. Complete the remaining steps in the same stepped form. The field names and options for those steps are not documented here.

  9. On the final step, select Save to create the query.

Result

The new basic query appears in the Basic Queries list and is associated with the selected client connection.
