Shop configurations is the Admin Panel area for setting rules that govern storefront behavior across the shop rather than one product or customer.
What shop configurations covers
The screen presents these fourteen tabs: Synchronization, Account, Catalog, Product Variants, Order, Shipping, Pricing, Stock, Legacy Records, Logging, Usual Cart, Cloudflare, Recommendations, and Notifications. The documented configuration areas group distinct aspects of storefront behavior.
Synchronization determines whether categories, currencies, packages, users, and customer roles are managed in DigiTrade or driven from the ERP.
Account controls customer identification and activation, guest access to products and prices, two-factor authentication, and the date format used across the application.
Catalog sets the default catalog page size, controls package quantities on product cards, and defines how ERP product images are handled.
Product Variants determines which attributes, packages, and prices child products inherit from their parents and how the default variant is selected.
Order sets approval requirements, credit-limit display and enforcement, minimum order totals, note length limits, tax rate, and product-comment availability.
Shipping controls delivery-date selection, delivery-address entry, and shipping notes at checkout.
Pricing defines discount sources, price rounding, locale format, decimal precision, batch or single price fetching, and display of a strikethrough previous price.
Stock determines whether stock data is fetched live or from a snapshot, whether out-of-stock products sort last, and whether stock levels appear in the catalog.
Legacy Records specifies whether records absent from the ERP are marked as deleted in DigiTrade for each entity type.
Logging sets how many days task logs remain before the system clears them.
Usual Cart configures the feature that shows customers products they previously purchased. It also controls the lookback period and whether the data is fetched live or cached.
How saving works across the documented areas
The page provides Save and Cancel actions in its toolbar. The eleven documented configuration areas share one Save and Cancel toolbar at the bottom of the page. Changes made in any documented configuration area remain in memory until you select Save. Selecting Cancel discards unsaved changes across the documented configuration areas, not only the area you are viewing. On the unchanged screen, Save is disabled. You can adjust settings across several documented configuration areas and commit them together in one session.
Why these settings matter
Shop configurations sits upstream of many other storefront behaviors. A change can affect login matching, catalog visibility, checkout validation, pricing output, stock display, and data cleanup across the store. Review these settings during initial store setup and when the ERP integration policy changes, then keep them stable otherwise.
The choices on the Synchronization tab define who owns each supported type of data. The synchronization choices are ERP and System. Switching an entity from System to ERP makes the ERP the single source of truth for that entity. When you switch to ERP, settings previously made through the system are discarded, as the in-product warning states.
