The Synchronization and Account tabs control entity-record management and customer-account activation and identification. Open Shop configurations in the Admin Panel to access these settings.
Synchronization tab
Use this tab to choose whether each entity class is managed by the system or driven by ERP data. Each entity class has an independent radio group with ERP and System options, with System selected by default. Using System mode allows the first synchronization to be performed by setting the appropriate setting in ERP Manager to sync once. Using ERP mode makes data come from the ERP. Switching an entity from System to ERP discards the settings made through the system for that entity.
Control | What it governs |
Categories | Whether category records are maintained in the system or come from the ERP. |
Currencies | Whether currency records are maintained in the system or come from the ERP. |
Packages | Whether package records are maintained in the system or come from the ERP. |
Users | Whether user records are maintained in the system or come from the ERP. |
Customer Roles | Whether a customer user's orders and finance roles are maintained in the system or come from the ERP. Under ERP, Phonebook sync overwrites these roles; under System, they are managed manually. |
Account tab
Use this tab for account activation and identification, guest visibility, and customer-specific product visibility settings.
Setting | Type | Options / values | What it controls |
Account activation | Radio group. | By sync key, By sync key and email, By sync key and phone. | This setting defines how the system matches and activates customer accounts using ERP identifiers and optional contact fields. |
Account activation two-factor authentication | Radio group. | Yes, No. | This setting controls whether activating an ERP customer user requires one-time code confirmation sent to the supplied phone or email. |
Individual product list | Radio group. | Yes, No. | This setting controls whether product visibility can be limited to a customer-specific product list instead of the full catalog. |
Show products to guests | Radio group. | Yes, No. | This setting controls whether unauthenticated users can browse and view product cards or pages. |
Customer two-factor authentication | Radio group. | Yes, No. | This setting controls whether customer users must complete email-based two-factor authentication after login. |
Customer login methods | Radio group. | E-mail + password, userName + SMS code (passwordless). | This setting specifies which login methods the storefront offers, and it can offer more than one method at once. |
Compare userName in lowercase mode | Radio group. | Case-insensitive, Case-sensitive. | Treat this setting as a deployment-time decision and set it before the first registration. Under Case-insensitive, the original username casing is destroyed when written and cannot be recovered. Changing from Case-sensitive to Case-insensitive later can cause collisions with existing rows. |
OTP code lifetime (seconds) | Number field. | A value in seconds. | This value is shared by customer login two-factor authentication and account-activation two-factor authentication. Changing this value affects both flows. |
Show base price to guests | Radio group. | Yes, No. | This setting controls whether unauthenticated users can see product pricing. |
Date format | Radio group. | DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, DD.MM.YYYY, MM.DD.YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD. | This setting controls the display format of dates across the application, including orders, documents, and shipping dates. |
Saving settings
Settings on every Shop configuration tab are saved together when you select Save at the bottom of the page. On the initial screen, Save is disabled. Selecting Cancel discards unsaved changes.
