The Order, Shipping, and Pricing tabs of the Shop configuration page control how orders are placed, shipped, and priced. Open Shop configurations in the Admin Panel to view these settings.
Order tab
The Order tab contains workflow, validation, and basic order constraint settings.
Control | Description |
Require approval | This control determines whether an Admin approval step is required before the order is sent to the ERP. The options are Yes and No. |
Show credit limit | This control is a radio group with Yes and No options. |
Allow over credit limit | This control determines whether customers can place orders when their credit limit is exceeded. The options are Yes and No. |
Minimum order | This field sets the minimum allowed order total required to place an order. The field accepts numeric input. |
Shipping notes limit | This field sets the maximum number of characters allowed in the shipping notes field during checkout. The field accepts numeric input. |
Product notes limit | This field sets the maximum number of characters allowed in the note or comment field for a product in the cart. The field accepts numeric input. |
Tax rate | This field is a numeric setting. |
Enable product comments | This control determines whether customers can add comments to products. The options are Yes and No. |
Shipping tab
The Shipping tab controls which shipping-related inputs are available to customers during checkout. Each shipping setting is a radio group with Yes and No options.
Control | Description |
Allow date | This control determines whether customers can select a shipping or delivery date during checkout. The options are Yes and No. |
Allow address | This control determines whether customers can provide a shipping or delivery address during checkout. The options are Yes and No. |
Allow note | This control determines whether customers can add a shipping or delivery note during checkout. The options are Yes and No. |
Pricing tab
The Pricing tab covers how prices are calculated, rounded, formatted, and presented to users. Each pricing setting is a radio group.
Control | Description |
Discount mode | This control defines where discounts are applied from. The options are ERP, System, and Both. |
Price rounding | This control defines how decimal values are rounded when displaying or calculating prices. The options are Up and Down. |
Price locale | This control defines locale-based number formatting for prices, including decimal and thousands separators and grouping style. The options are en-IL, he-IL, en-US, en-GB, de-DE, it-IT, fr-FR, es-ES, ru-RU, de-CH, and hi-IN. |
Decimal Precision | This control defines how many digits are displayed after the decimal point for prices. The options are 1, 2, and 3. |
Pricing fetch strategy | This control defines whether the frontend requests pricing per item or in batches, affecting performance and the endpoints used. The options are Single item and Batch (collection). |
Show "was" price (strikethrough) | This control determines whether the storefront displays a previous or original price alongside the current price. The options are Yes and No. |
Price history anchor source | This control defines which price source is treated as the original anchor price used to compute and display the strikethrough was price. The options are Base price and Price list price. |
Notes
Settings on every Shop configuration tab are saved together when you select Save at the bottom of the page.
Selecting Cancel discards any unsaved changes.
Save is disabled until you make at least one change.
