This screen lists the special offer badges configured for your shop, and it is where you create, open and delete them. Reach it by expanding Special Offers in the navigation and selecting Special Offer Settings.
Offer list
The list is a table with a row checkbox, a Select all checkbox in the header, and the columns in the table below. Special Offer Name, Text Color and Background Color have sort buttons in their headers, and Type does not.
Column | What it shows |
Special Offer Name | The name of the offer. |
Type | The promotion type assigned to the offer. |
Text Color | The hex color value used for the offer badge text. |
Background Color | The hex color value used for the offer badge background. |
List actions
Select Create in the page heading to open the form for a new special offer.
Each existing offer has its own detail form.
The toolbar above the table has an Unselect button, an items-selected count and a Delete button. Delete removes the offers selected with the row checkboxes.
The Rows per page selector offers 5, 10, 25 and 50 rows.
Create and detail forms
The create form and the detail form have the same five fields: Name, Promotion type, Background Color, Text Color and Preview.
Field | What it holds |
Name | Text field. It holds the offer's display name. |
Promotion type | A required selector for the offer type. It is disabled when you open an existing offer. |
Background Color | Text field. It holds the hex color value of the badge background. |
Text Color | Text field. It holds the hex color value of the badge text. |
Preview | Read-only field. It renders a live preview of the badge from the current name and color values. |
Form toolbar
Control | Where it appears and when it is available |
Save | It appears on both forms and is unavailable on an untouched form. On the create form, it becomes available after you change field values. |
Cancel | It appears on both forms. |
Delete | It appears on the detail form only. |
Back | It appears on the detail form only, as a link in the page heading. |
Notes
Offer names and hex color values in the list come from your shop's own data, not from fixed platform values.
