To open the Categories screen, select Categories in the navigation. The screen lists your shop's categories under a Categories heading. Category data is nested, so a category can have sub-categories beneath it. The list is not a table and has no rows-per-page control.

The storefront menu, the mobile drawer and category carousels take their content from the category tree. Shoppers do not see categories that are hidden or that were deleted in the ERP. Guests see no category surfaces while the shop setting that lets unauthorized visitors see products is off. Buyers restricted to their own product list get a separate tree built only from those products, so two signed-in shoppers may not see the same categories.
