A document PDF template sets the layout of the PDF that is downloaded for a document. Each client has one template. A client without a template keeps the standard document PDF layout.

Steps

  1. Open Document PDF Template from the side menu.

  2. On the Document PDF Template screen, select CREATE. The Create Document PDF Template form opens.

  3. In Masthead, enter the company details in Company details, one per line, for example name, address, phone and company number.

  4. Optional: In Masthead, switch on Print the logo.

  5. In Masthead, enter the Copy mark that is printed next to the document type on a copy.

  6. In Customer details, enter the Main group title and the Shipping group title for the two titled groups of card fields.

  7. Optional: In Customer details, choose the fields that belong in the shipping group in Fields in the shipping group. Every other field stays in the main group.

  8. In Totals, select the page side for the totals block in Totals position, which is required.

  9. Optional: In Totals, select Add under Beside the totals to add a row for one field of the document, such as bank details or a VAT number. Each row prints under the caption you give it in each language, and rows print in order.

  10. In Terms, enter the paragraph that is printed at the foot of the page in Terms text.

  11. Optional: In Terms, enter a value in Terms colour. Leave it empty to print the terms in the document’s default colour.

  12. Select Save. On the empty form, Save is unavailable. Save becomes available after you change field values.
